§ 1About the blog
The chapters in this handbook answer a question once, in a fixed order, and they avoid opinion. The blog is the other half of the shop. Each post takes one narrow question, goes much deeper than a chapter can, and says plainly what we could not confirm.
The tone is more relaxed, but the rules are the same. Every figure comes from an official source and is dated. No post is paid for or sponsored, and each one links to the chapters that hold the underlying rules, so you can step back from the detail whenever you want.
New posts appear when a rule changes or when a reader's question deserves more room than a chapter can give it. If you have such a question, send it through the contact page and say which chapter it relates to.
